Backwoods Crockpot Barbeque

Ingredients:



  • 1 boneless chuck roast (3 pound chuck roast)

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 bottle of your favorite barbeque sauce (18 oz.)

  • 1 cup Junior Walton’s Authentic Carolina Moonshine


 

Directions:



  • Place the roast in the slow cooker.

  • Sprinkle all seasonings over the roast.

  • In a separate mixing bowl, mix together the barbeque sauce and Junior Walton’s Authentic Carolina Moonshine.

  • Pour barbeque mixture over the roast.

  • Cook on low heat for 6-8 hours.

  • Remove the roast, shred the meat, and return to slow cooker to mix thoroughly.

  • Recipe can easily be doubled for larger slow cookers.

  • Serve topped with coleslaw or other preferred toppings.
